Even during the hottest times of the year, the McCormick Ranch Train Park which is formally known as the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park and which lies in the heart of Scottsdale’s famed McCormick Ranch, is busy with adults, parents and children riding trains and carousels, having picnics and celebrating birthdays and events.
Being one of the most unique parks of its kind in the Southwestern United States, McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is but one of many reasons why McCormick Ranch homes have always fared so well relative to other real estate markets within Scottsdale.
And it’s not just having the park that makes McCormick Ranch real estate so sought after. It is the ongoing park events calendar that truly keep McCormick Ranch homeowners and visitors coming back for more. You may view the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park hours and a McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park map at your leisure. There is no admission fee to the park but tickets for rides cost $1.00 each (children of age three or younger ride free with a paying adult).
There was the Railfair 2012 back in October which featured displays and exhibits of model trains. Then on November 9th 2012, the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park held a Veterans Day celebration which showcased dignitaries, guest speakers and held live performances for McCormick Ranch home owners and other local residents.
And now, as our Winter holidays quickly approach, the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park will host what many believe to be one of Arizona’s most entertaining holiday events, the Railroad Park Holiday Lights.
We are a team of McCormick Ranch realtors who specialize in McCormick Ranch real estate and focus on providing our McCormick Ranch homeowners with resourceful information.
